Analytics and privacy

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics and our own measurements to understand how people find and use this website, and to monitor its performance.

We measure page views, requests, approximate daily visitor counts, country, browser and device category, referring website, campaign tags, downloads, outbound links, reading time and scroll depth. We retain dated analytics and exports for historical comparison.

Our first-party measurements use no cookies or browser storage. A daily identifier is computed on the server from the connection IP address and browser user agent using a secret hash. The original values are not stored in our analytics database. Identifiers change daily and are not used to follow people across websites. Counts are estimates: shared networks, changing IP addresses and blocked scripts affect them.

We do not record session replays, form contents, email-link addresses, or full referring URLs. Query strings are discarded apart from explicitly supported campaign tags. Please avoid placing personal information in campaign names.

Our browser measurements respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Cloudflare's independent cookieless measurements and aggregate server traffic counts remain separate. Analytics are stored privately in our Cloudflare account and saved in private archives.
